Orgatec 2024 in Cologne was a complete success for werner works. Visitors were impressed by both the stand design and the product news.
Adopting the theme: “Designing Tomorrow’s Office Landscapes”, architectural company Kinzo has developed a concept for werner works, drawing inspiration from natural landscapes. The booth space is primarily defined by the products themselves, highlighting the furniture’s capacity to shape and transform environments. The furniture and bold colour scheme combine to create abstract topographies, while the floating air frames add a vertical dimension to the space.
A simulated riverbed cuts diagonally across the booth, guiding visitors on a journey of discovery through the various product landscapes along its banks. Next to it is a mountain-like structure of stepped platforms that resembles the irregular contours of a rocky outcrop, comprised of asymmetrical modules.
Natural elements such as plants are integrated into the furniture throughout the booth, creating a warm, natural atmosphere. The overall effect is as if the space is growing organically out of the ground – a striking visual spectacle in the exhibition hall.
The furniture from werner works is designed with an awareness of zoning, modularity and multi-functionality. In line with the event’s theme, werner works is introducing two ground-breaking products at the trade show: HOCKEY and LAYOUT, developed in collaboration with Berlin-based architectural firm Kinzo..
The smart room divider HOCKEY combines traditional craftsmanship with modern functionality and sustainable construction. The sculptural appearance opens up new scope for design.
LAYOUT transforms meeting rooms by providing a stage for standard technical equipment such as displays, cameras and microphones. This clearly defined wall element creates a frame for all components, elegantly integrating the diverse needs of these areas into a single, cohesive piece of furniture.
