Beko Käuferportal, Europe's leading online platform for house related products, has moved into the new office at Potsdamer Platz in the former "Forum Tower" with 400 members of staff. With 18 storeys and a height of 70 metres, the building, which was designed by Italian architect Renzo Piano in 1998, is one of the signature features of the "New Centre" of Berlin.
The reason for the move from Friedrichstrasse is the strong growth of the one-time start-up. Founded in 2008, Beko Käuferportal has quickly developed into Europe's largest intermediary for products relating to the home. The new domicile offers employees a creative platform for exchange, communication and retreat – a place to live and work. Flexible, open offices, cool extras and a bar encourage interactions. Single-occupancy offices, on the other hand, provide the necessary space for concentrated work.
The exceptional ambience of the individual offices with the mix of different furnishing modules and the individual colour concept convey a homely, almost private atmosphere.
The basic cap – sideboards from werner works are painted in soft-touch to match the wall colour.
