The CyberLab #SmartProductionPark is a new inner-city start-up and growth center in Karlsruhe. It offers startups in the field of modern production an optimal infrastructure to implement their ideas. The project is a cooperation between the Karlsruhe Economic Development Agency and the CyberForum, one of the largest networks for the digital economy in Europe. Financing was provided by the city of Karlsruhe, the state of Baden-Württemberg and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
The new center will strengthen Karlsruhe as a hotspot for highly innovative startups, emphasized Prime Minister Winfried Kretschmann at the opening. In the CyberLab, startups are built from the business idea to the finished concept. It is primarily about IT technology and cybersecurity for society as well as the digitalization of medium-sized businesses.
The CyberLab offers space for up to 40 startups in a 3,000 square meter working environment with co-working spaces, event area, MakerSpace, workshop and café.
Among other things, feco has set up the feco lounge in the CyberLab #SmartProductionPark on site. The feco lounge is an agile location for workshops and events, equipped with the latest technology and flexible furniture. The room can accommodate up to 30 people. 'stepup' forms the center of the spacious presentation area with a multi-tiered stand as flexible seating in front of the mobile screens.
