Karlsruhe District Council Office, which has already got offices in two other BGV buildings, has now set up another office in the newly built “Parkgebäude Karlsruhe” office building. This building is located near Gottesaue Palace and the University of Music and has been specifically designed to discretely blend into the surrounding architecture. It has sufficient space for approximately 230 workspaces. The building's offices are occupied by District Council Office offices and Public Health Office personnel.
For this reason, it also contains large areas dedicated to visitors to the building. The building’s visitor reception area was designed by the office furnishers feco-feederle from Karlsruhe and werner works in line with the District Council Office’s specifications. The large curved 'cockpit2.0' reception desk and adjoining 'basic flow' shelving system form a prominent unit that instantly draws the attention of anyone entering the foyer. The unit is an inviting place for visitors as a first-point-of-contact and provides reception staff with effective work and storage spaces. The area at the back is shielded from visitors’ view by the shelving system and suspended ceiling, thanks to which it constitutes a independent space that is perfect for private conversations.
