Seepex is a leading worldwide specialist in pump technology, including eccentric screw pumps, macerators and control systems. The company has been based in Bottrop since 1978. A new office building, a production hall and an energy centre were constructed here in three phases, with completion in 2013.

In addition to providing standard cupboards for the multi-occupancy offices, werner works also manufactured made-to-measure furniture for Seepex, for the meeting zones. The open stairwell, with its kitchen, cloakroom and encased locker cupboards, has now become a central meeting point for all the staff. The locker cupboards provide each employee with his/her own locker for personal belongings. Their 38-mm-thick surround also allows them to be used as a venue for stand-up meetings. The kitchenette, cloakroom elements and tall locker cupboards were arranged on both sides in the 'R-Modules'. This compact interior block becomes an architectural feature, but also shields the communication zone from the corridor area.
