An office building that truly maximizes the feel-good factor when working: The new headquarters of the architecture + engineering office BAURCONSULT near Haßfurt. The self-proclaimed “home” for its customers and employees offers exactly what you could want from a modern office world. The building is a simple beauty with a timeless and high-quality design. Wood is used both outside and inside, which significantly increases the feel-good factor. With a wood content of 80 percent, the BAURCONSULT building is a real climate protector, because compared to conventional building materials, wooden construction in this case saves at least 660 tons of CO2.

This resulted in 2,317 square meters of office space, spread over three floors, each with a loggia, which further underlines the homely character of the building. The facade consists of bands that develop their own dynamics and beauty due to their different widths, heights and lengths. Black as a color supports this idea. The big goal was to reflect the homeliness and diversity of everyday working life in the office building. In fact, the 200 or so employees have the best working conditions at the new headquarters, because the generous glazing offers plenty of light and anyone who looks outside from their desk can see the greenery.
