Home Deluxe, the expert for trendy interior and garden furnishings, is a specialist online retailer of unique furniture selected for their aesthetic appeal and practical value. Conceived and launched in 2009 by managing director Alexander Thoss based on the idea and vision of making striking design accessible to all, Home Deluxe has since become a great success and is continuing to grow. Having started off with just a handful of people, the company now employs a hundred staff at three different locations, making Home Deluxe an inspiring and unique success story.

The company recently made headway towards achieving yet another of Thoss’ visions, which is to be “an outstanding employer and create a working environment that people love working in”, with its new offices in Holzhausen/Lübbecke. For this project, Home Deluxe wanted bright and airy open-plan offices dotted with inviting meeting spaces that would also double up as office pods for concentrated working. Further, the company wanted – despite its rapid growth – to preserve its informal and vibrant atmosphere, flat hierarchies and short decision making paths. werner works was able to contribute to this vision by creating a modern and creative atmosphere right from the foyer through to the communal areas and managing director’s office.
