Veolia Umweltservice, a company specialising in water, waste and energy management, is moving into the new Edge building at Amerigo-Vespucci-Platz 1 in Hamburg's HafenCity. Edge HafenCity offers a mix of highly efficient office floors that can be divided up according to the tenant's individual requirements. Neotares developed the interior design concept for a modern and sustainable working environment for around 400 employees of the German subsidiary Veolia in Hamburg. Protecting, conserving and preserving resources is the fundamental guiding principle of Veolia's business. This claim was also of great importance in the design of the offices, in addition to the optimal realisation of work processes.
A modern open-plan workplace design means flexibility, productivity and a feel-good atmosphere. It should enable both communication and concentrated work. These criteria were perfectly realised in the furnishings and supported and accentuated by the materials and colours used.
Our wall units, consisting of lockers, wardrobes and basic S cupboard booths, structure the rooms, provide additional storage space and are also a successful visual module in the design of Veolia's modern office environment.
